Mission

FoodShare South Carolina’s mission is to increase access to, knowledge of and consumption of vegetables and fruit through community-led projects. All of FoodShare’s work is guided by strong beliefs that reflect our commitment to food security and food justice. As a leader in food security locally and statewide in South Carolina, we collaborate with others who share our beliefs to realize our vision of expanding access to nutritious food.

Our Involvement

At our Fly For Foundations fundraiser at Eagle Aviation, The Rick Mantei Charitable Fund proudly supported FoodShare South Carolina, an organization dedicated to increasing access to fresh fruits and vegetables for families across the state. FoodShare leads the way in food security and food justice, ensuring that communities have both the resources and knowledge to make healthy choices. Through our WWII flight event, we helped raise funds to expand FoodShare’s vision of equitable access to nutritious food.
