During his long career in the US Air Force, Rick Mantei learned the valuable lessons of leadership, responsibility and service, values at the core of the curriculum at the US Air Force Academy. Now, long after graduation, Mantei continues to believe in the academy’s ability to teach the next generation of graduates. So, over the past few years Mantei has donated over $1 million to the US Air Force Academy Foundation to help fund the academy’s educational efforts. 

Through the foundation, donors such as Mantei have supported its mission to provide transformative philanthropic support to the USAFA with more than $195 million since 2007.
