Mission

Midwest Food Bank, the largest faith-based food bank in the US, is a non-denominational, non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
With the help of volunteers, dedication of strategic leaders, and generosity of donors, Midwest Food Bank has flourished into something greater than the founding family could have ever imagined. Now, Midwest Food Bank has a presence across the globe and is widely recognized not only for its service to those in need, but also because of its organizational transparency.

Our Involvement

Rick Mantei holds flying events at the local airport in Peachtree City, and extended an invitation to the Midwest Food Bank volunteers to thank them for their hard work. Additionally, Mantei made a donation of $5,000 to the nonprofit to help further its efforts.

Midwest Food Bank distributes over $32 million worth of food to over 2,000 nonprofit organizations each month through its locations across eight states, East Africa and Haiti. The nonprofit is a first responder to the Salvation Army, able to send family food boxes on the road to a disaster site within 24 hours of a request. Each of these boxes has enough food to feed a family of four for four to five days.
