During his long career in the US Air Force, Rick Mantei learned the valuable lessons of leadership, responsibility and service, values at the core of the curriculum at the US Air Force Academy. Now, long after graduation, Mantei continues to believe in the academy’s ability to teach the next generation of graduates. So, over the past few years Mantei has given his personal support to the US Air Force Academy Foundation to help the academy’s educational efforts.
The USAFA Foundation’s mission is “To ignite a passion among supporters that builds a culture of philanthropy, advancing the Air Force Academy for all generations.” It works to support initiatives that are not otherwise supported through government funding. Through the foundation, Mantei has supported their mission to provide transformative charitable efforts to the USAFA since 2007.
As not only an academy graduate, but also a retired veteran, Rick Mantei is proud and honored to support his alma mater educate and inspire future generations through its programs.
