The Rick Mantei Charitable Fund was honored to celebrate Bruce Cook’s 100th birthday, recognizing his remarkable service as a B-17 Flying Fortress turret gunner during World War II.
Bruce recently joined the Fund at its Fly For Foundations event at Eagle Aviation, where he shared his experiences as a veteran and lifelong aviation enthusiast. His passion for flight and dedication to country reflect the very mission of the Fund – preserving aviation history, honoring veterans, and giving back through community service.
To mark his 100th year, Rick Mantei hosted a special gathering to thank Bruce for his service and celebrate a life defined by courage, sacrifice, and resilience.
The Rick Mantei Charitable Fund remains committed to supporting veterans and honoring the legacy of those who paved the way for future generations of aviators and leaders.
